On written request by the Chair of the Judicial Standards Commission, the Attorney General released a formal opinion today finding the recent statutory amendment expanding the Judicial Standards Commission’s jurisdiction to include hearing officers, special masters, special commissioners, etc. to be unconstitutional.
Commission adopts revised procedural rules effective February 10, 2020.
After considering the one public comment received, on February 10, 2020 the Commission adopted revisions to its procedural rules. The newly revised rules are published elsewhere on this site under Resources>Governing Provisions of Law.
